Oriental Spicy Rice

There is usually left-over rice in a household, so instead of discarding it I make this recipe, and use it for either lunch or dinner the following day. Add extra vegetables or anything you fancy from your fridge.



  1. In a large frying pan, heat the oil and add the chillies, garlic, ginger and spring onions.
  2. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes, before adding the rice and beans.
  3. Cook for a further couple of minutes, before adding the tamarind paste, soy sauce and water.
  4. Add the coriander. Once the rice is heated through, serve.
