I love Christmas, but I don’t like all the mad rushing around on top of all the mad rushing around I already do, day to day!

This year we are going out for lunch Christmas Day for a change. I’m sure it won’t be as good as when you cook it yourself, but we wanted to celebrate with all the family this year and the thought of cooking for 20 people wasn’t very appealing!

So what’s news in the CCWK world?

I know cooking isn’t on the top of peoples’ agendas at this time of year (unless it’s for the big day), but my Christmas e-book has 20 festive recipes you may like to try. She has been extremely poorly and is only half way through her treatment. Cook Clean Get Lean Weight Loss Plan

Another topic that isn’t on many people’s minds at this time of year is losing a few pounds! Well, I understand that (I am human after all), but if you have made New Year’s resolutions to lose a few stubborn pounds and banish the muffin tops then my Cook Clean, Get Lean weight loss plan may be just perfect for you. I know you can buy these from coffee chains, but seriously PLEASE DON’T because they are LOADED with empty calories and also too many chemicals which are hidden in the synthetic flavouring! So, rather than abuse your waistline, try my version which only takes five minutes and tastes delicious.

  • Yield: Serves 1

This just smells and tastes like Christmas to me, and it's so easy to make! Use a couple of teaspoons of maple syrup if you don't have any dates, but I love the toffee taste that the dates create.



  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and gently heat.
  3. Just before it reaches boiling point, take it off the heat and serve.
