About Kate Sandat

My name is Kate Sandat and I have been in the fitness and wellness industry for 12 years. Whilst personal training I got asked time after time for nutrition advice and weight-loss diets and tips for healthier eating habits. According to the client type I advised on a number of methods, for example low fat with high carbs, not mixing protein with carbs and eating lower calorie then exercise expended, to name a few. What I found was although clients enjoyed good results often it was temporary success before the client fell back into their old habits and the weight returned. After years of studying, research and hours in the kitchen I am now totally confident in my finely tuned approach which has seen clients enjoy great long-term results, having built in my methods into their every day life. In essence I am an ambassador of great food and taste and believe that healthy eating needn’t be boring or tasteless .

I am a keen foodie and ‘Kate’s Kitchen’ is a blog I have created where I can talk about food to my hearts content while offering tasty, healthy recipes and information on food products, gadgets or my take on topical food issues. My aim is to inspire you into cooking my healthy, tasty ‘clean’ recipes. By ‘clean’ I mean excluding wheat, dairy, certain sugars and certain grains whilst creating delicious meals. I have adapted everybody’s favourite dishes into a ‘healthier’ style without losing the taste and wow factor. As most people do these days, I lead a hectic life with three young children so I always try to keep recipes as easy and straight forward to follow as I can.
